The Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen weekend is sure to be one of the most action-packed weekends of the summer. This weekend, June 6-8, Watkins Glen International will offer five races and four different racing series, highlighted by the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series taking on the historic twists and turns on Saturday, June 7th.

Races will kick off early Saturday morning, June 7, with the Star Mazda Championship. This event will set the stage for a day of racing, including the weekend’s main event, the 27th running of the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. This year, Watkins Glen International is also pleased to announce that Patrick Dempsey, star of "Grey’s Anatomy," will be racing at The Glen for the first time as a part of the Rolex Series.

Turn 10 will be the place to be on both Friday and Saturday, as several exciting events will take place for fans. The stars of the Rolex Series will sign autographs on Friday from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The drivers of the NASCAR Camping World Series will be available to fans on Saturday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Hungry fans and competitive eaters can sign up to participate in the 2nd Annual Sahlen’s Hotdog Eating Contest on Saturday at 5:30PM. Saturday night will come to an end with a special concert on the Red Cat Summer Stage featuring the Brainbell Janglers at 6:30PM.

The action continues on Sunday, June 8 as the SCCA SPEED World Challenge hosts two events. The SCCA SPEED World Challenge Touring Car race will take place at 8:35 AM, and the SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT race will follow at 10:50 AM. The event weekend will wrap up with the NASCAR Camping World Series 125 at The Glen taking the green flag at 12:30 PM.

General admission tickets for Kids 12 and under are FREE during the June 6-8 and July 4-6 event weekends when accompanied by an adult. Open-wheel racing returns for the 4th of July weekend during the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen, July 4-6, and the Centurion Boats at The Glen NASCAR Sprint Cup and Zippo 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series weekend highlights the summer action, August 7-10.
