The Checkered Flag Drops on Another Exciting Season at The Glen
Mother Nature did her best to bring an early end to the 2007 Zippo U.S. Vintage Grand Prix but she did not prevail. The dedicated drivers in attendance waited out heavy rain and fog to bring the event and the exciting 2007 racing season at The Glen to a close. Every race was run in its entirety and despite the constant rain the racing remained competitive and exciting. Special Guest and Grand Marshal John Watson greatly enjoyed his return to The Glen and said that he was honored to start the 8th U.S. Bugatti Grand Prix. He called his trip here a "homecoming" back to the historic road course and emphasized that it is one of his favorite courses in the world.
The Glen is looking forward to an exciting 2008 racing season. Look for your renewal packets in the mail at the end of this month and general tickets go on sale in December.
